Radar issues haven’t been fixed during peak traffic. Comms issues are happening regularly with no fixes. This upcoming peak travel weekend will potentially end up in the perfect storm of failures: RADAR and Radio failure.

Mark my words, It won’t be a problem the faa admits to until someone dies. This is their pet project. They will defend it at all costs because it’s the model for future consolidations and realignments

I believe the backup backup radios using the building antenna are too far in philly to hit most of the Newark airspace.

Aviation is built on safety and redundancy.

This entire move disregarded redundancy and safety even after they were identified in safety panels.

The entire move was pushed by NATCA, Rinaldi Consulting, Iacopelli all collaborating to disregard one of the main reasons our union exists:

The architects are this debacle should all be fired. They will legitimately all continue to be promoted. For real, that’s how fucked up this agency is. These are the people driving the boat we’re all strapped into. These are the people we’ll be negotiating our future pay and benefits with. It’d be nice to think someone like Trump would atleast clean a house a messy as this but all he’s gonna do is empower these people to suffocate the labor.
