Hey, since everyone is probably discussing schedules for next year so I thought we could post what our facilities do. Maybe some have some better ones than others. I'll post ours later when I have it in front of me.

What about breaks? I'm starting soon and was wondering how this works... do they require them to be small and spread out, or do you get to take them together so that you have like 2 hours all at once to run out and get errands done or hit the gym or do whatever with plenty of time to get back.

Yeah doesn't really work like that

Hahah I usually get my chode waxed on break. Honest days work for an honest days pay. How does that sound?

Open 6am-11pm

1505-2305 (no flex)
1315-2115 (30 min flex)
0930-1730 (30 min flex)
0715-1515 (30 min flex)
0545-1345 (10 min flex)

Going to have 6 or so 10 hr lines next year (because we have SO many people) so it's going to change slightly.

My schedule every week-
Fri: 1530-2330
Sat: 1300-2100
Sun: 0645-1445
Mon: 0545-1345
Mon: 2215-0615 (*Tue)
Wed: ODO
Thu: 1345-2145 or 1430-2230 OT

7 rotating RDO lines (2 weekends off every 7 weeks and different RDOs every week) working either straight days or straight nights (days can start anywhere from 6-9am and night shift anywhere from 11am-14) but we are required to have at least 2 openers (6am shift) and 2 closers (14 shift)
4 fixed lines - FRI/SAT (days) RDOs, SUN/MON (nights) RDOs, TUES/WED (nights) RDOs, and WED/THUR RDOs (working nights FRI-SUN and days MON and TUES)
We have a pretty sweet thing going, though it sucks if you don't want to work nights and get a night line because of your seniority since we don't rotate days/nights.

Fri & Sat - 1300-2100
Sun - 0600-1400

Few OTs with Prime Time or Military leave/ sickouts

Might want to take another look at your military time conversions for days three and four.

There is no part of that system that sounds appealing. Maybe the straight nights I'd like....does that go to higher or lower seniority people?

Actually, the fixed FRI/SAT line is always taken by the guy with the highest seniority and the day lines almost always go first. I've been at my facility 3 years and I've been on nights the whole time, even though I'd rather work days.
