15 days to slow the spread guys, don’t forget
Just my opinion, I think it’s pretty clear the FAA and/or NATCA don’t want to fully return to normal until there’s a vaccine. If they’re unable, or unwilling, to come up with a problem solving plan at this point, it’s not going to change until there’s widespread vaccine dispersal and someone declares the pandemic over. As to why someone can’t figure out a way to make things work, that’s where the politics come in.

The NBA has done a decent job of getting things restarted in their ‘bubble.’ I mean not having fans obviously lowers the energy level a bit, but they’ve put a hell of a lot of effort into making it work. Imagine if we could put that type of problem solving ingenuity into figuring out how to train.

I still don’t get how New York figured it out so quickly
I think it’s a mix between a few things. We shut the entire state down for a long time. Unfortunately a large amount of the elderly had gotten it And passed away , thanks to lord Cuomo. Most of the people in the city fled to other places. Probably could have saved a lot of lives with some help to the nursing homes and if Cuomo decided to clean the subways people were living on , earlier than end of May.

I saw a barstool poll today . Would you rather watch soft core porn for the rest of your life or minor league sports. I think pro sports energy right now is worse than any minor league game so I’m going to pick minor league sports.

Clearance Clarence for National Training Rep, lets go!

So for people that have done them, which of the side-gig apps have you seen the most success with? Uber/Lyft sounds like it might be tougher during corona times. Anyone done Instacart or Postmates? Or just the food ones like DoorDash? What’s the best combo for getting regular orders with decent pay?

As a CPC-IT I'm doing great. I've got the best of both worlds going on. Yes. I'd prefer to be a CPC but I'm not waiting on any raises so I don't really care. I am enjoying the extra time off and spending my summer camping and hiking. I will never see this much time off in the summer again until I retire. I just wish I could go on an international vacation... but that'll happen eventually just like finishing training will happen eventually.

I think we all need to remember not to lump everyone together into one big group. Everyone's situation is different and everyone's life is different. Try to find a positive and it'll make this all a little better.
I'm sure you dont mind being a cpc it thats sitting at home on high risk for 5 months

I have a friend in FSS who just certified, who had actively been training. Let’s not get into Flight service isn’t ATC or not. I’m curious how another 2152 FAA position, covered by Natca, can train but those on the AT scale can not.

Great question!
