Voting our conscience?lol people that live in swing states and vote 3rd party/write in are confusing to me. they have a voice and yet they squander it. if you're in CA or kentucky by all means vote for kanye otherwise wtf you doin

If this continues to happen and the independent vote continues to grow it gives legitimacy to having a third party. Sure, it doesn't do anything this year, but it could mean something in the future. Especially with candidates that are so polarizing and both on opposite ends of the spectrum away from centrism.....I could be wrong about all of that though lolI mean I've read and understand the theoretical and philosophical reasons for doing so, and I agree with them, I just can't reconcile it with my understanding of the practical application of it lol. One of these two guys is gonna be on the throne at the end of the day, even if you dislike both, usually there will be one you dislike more than the other - therefore the lesser of two evils choice here is valid. I can understand it if someone dislikes both candidates equally but that's usually not the case

Nader Elected Bush: Why We Shouldn't Forget | RealClearPolitics
Polls show that many Bernie Sanders voters say they will withhold their support for Hillary Clinton, and that’s exactly how likely Green Party nominee Jill Stein wants it. She is tailoring her...www.realclearpolitics.com
I am all for the dismantling of the two party system but the reality is we live in that system and its not going away.
I guess what I can concede is at the end of the day if the people who voted 3rd party truly are indifferent to who is the victor, then ok I'm not gonna judge, but if they have a problem with it during the next 4 years or if they get upset about a justice nomination or something... then idk

On another note. Before Trump became President, does anyone remember hearing about the President's actions every single day of the year during the presidency? I don't recall Bush or Obama being the highlight of the news every single day of their presidency while they were in office. Maybe I just didn't notice it all of the time?
That was just in the Fox News world. Most normal people didn’t care about Obama on the day to day. Trump lessened that but there are still a lot of people who don’t know the half of shit trump says or does. They just aren’t engaged. Are you serious right now? Fox News literally ran Obama through the mud for wearing a tan suit. I had to listen to my mother in law complain about Obama every day on Facebook. Fox News did to Obama what Trump claims CNN does to him.
*Barrack Hussein Obama. It’s so important to them that you include the “Hussein”Are you serious right now? Fox News literally ran Obama through the mud for wearing a tan suit. Like I said, maybe I didn't notice. Though, I'm not specifically referring to negative news either. I'm also referring to every news outlet, not just Fox news or someone on Facebook complaining. You literally CANNOT turn on any news outlet without hearing someone talking about Trump, I don't care if it's CNN trying to shit on him or Fox news sucking him off. I just don't recall watching my local news 5+ years ago every evening and seeing the president as a highlight of the news. Are you serious right now?
