Ok so the quote you posted when you google it takes you to this CNN article which agrees with what I've posted. He straight up said the 2 Georgia senators would break the gridlock on the vote to increase the $600 to $2000.

It's only misleading to simpletons. I won't be replying to you again.
Good please don't. That's a direct quote of what he said. I don't care what media agency is carrying it and offering "explanations" of it. Don't say 2k if you mean 1400. So disappointed with you libs. You had a chance to legitimately move America forward with Yang or any other person not stuck in the establishment and ya'll just picked another old and crusty lifetime politician that is full of s^*+

Good thing AOC isn't the president. You came on here and said that Biden was a liar when it was your own interpretation that was wrong. I submitted 2 articles by unbiased news sources backing that it was going to be $1,400 to supplement the original $600. But I know, youre the type that probably is never wrong and can't admit you posted something stupid.
Is a third stimulus check in your future? And, if so, how much would you get? According to President-Elect Joe Biden, if Democrats Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock beat incumbent Republican Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue in Tuesday's Georgia runoff elections, then "$2,000 checks will go out the door." This statement, made during a campaign event for Ossoff and Warnock in Atlanta on Monday, is the strongest indication yet that Biden will push for a third stimulus check after his inauguration.” That is from an article on Kiplinger written after the promise was made by Biden and after the $600 was approved and partially sent. Was it a lie or simply a broken promise? I come down firmly in the “diminished mental capacity “ opinion. Never trust creepy Uncle Joe without a teleprompter. Also did you just call NPR and CNN unbiased news sources? And we are the simpletons? Incredible! I’m not sure if any media in this country is unbiased but I’m certain it is not either of those two liberal cesspools.

No sir, Fox pundits are about as far right as mainstream network news will allow. They are CNN’s mirror. Both will rarely, if ever, do a story critical of “their side”. I should not have lumped NPR in with CNN. NPR certainly leans left but I feel they try to be honest. CNN has jumped the shark with their recent coverage of Biden. They have no shame. I trust WSJ and Reuters to still adhere to a journalistic standard. It is becoming a thing of the past.

The problem with CNN is the editorializing and the manufactured conflict they place in thier "news" to fill airtime.

I find they do a good job of stating at the outset what is going on at the beginning of a segment, then Wolf Blitzer says "for more analysis we now go to...." and thats when the problems start, in general.

The fact that people viewing it, don't have the critical thinking skills to separate the two is the problem, and its prevelant on all the tv networks, it's a matter of who they are marketing thier product to, and part of that is feeding people what they want to hear so they don't change the channel.

Maybe we should teach better critical thinking and information consumption practices in schools from an early age, but I digress.

It's not even lack of critical thinking skills, it's plain intellectual laziness. I can sit for a few minutes in front of CNN and just kinda zone out, and all of a sudden I'm angry about shit Republicans have done that isn't rational.

I mean, I'm 100% in agreement that Trump is/was a lying dbag narcissist turd, but apparently that assessment of him isn't critical enough.

Democrats portray him as perfectly imperfect... as in, he can do no right, no matter what he does. Everybody does good things even if by accident, so this analysis of him was B.S.

Though I did spend a 3 years trying to be balanced on the subject of Trump, I kinda ignored him from March until November, and then when he started up on election fraud, all bets were off.

Still though, when I look at the shit Dem leaders/politicians have said, I don't quite get how we're going for "inciting of violence" with DT when we're not crucifying the Dem leaders for doing similar. Albeit, his cause was imaginary and their cause was real.... that doesn't justify it though.

That's one of our tech ops guys out here. It's really sad, he's a really nice guy and fairly easy/enjoyable to work with, but that's obviously not gonna happen anymore...
