I don’t believe the boyfriend firing first nor the police serving the warrant acted necessarily inappropriately given the circumstances. The problem here, IMO, with the warrant, was the intel that went into this whole operation. The “cops” leadership failed them and they(both the police and the occupants of the apartment) were in a no-win situation. The cops on scene were doing their job and Breonna’s boyfriend was protecting his property. Who needs to be responsible for this would be those decision makers that made this whole thing happen.
