Usually controllers that say they are good at working planes not only are horrible controllers, but have such ridiculous personalities that everyone just kind of keeps quite and let’s them listen to themselves until they run out breath. Usually, exceptions to everything.

Is traffic coming back to warrant it or is it more to do with restarting training back up? I saw tsa passenger counts were trending upwards around 40% of the prior year but it looks like they've fallen back off again to under 30% the past couple weeksNot at my facility yet, going back to a BWS October 11th so we will see how long that lasts.

I have not seen our traffic or passenger numbers because our FacRep stopped posting them. You have to think aside from the holidays, traffic is going to continue to decline throughout the winter. Crazy that the worst staffed facility in the NAS is one of the longest able to stay on 5/10. But even if a lot of facilities come off 5/10, I think there's a possibility they could return to it once the traffic never picks back up... unless the really restart training nationwide, then 5/5 is probably the best they'll be able to do.my facility is still 5/10 but I’m expecting that to change any day. Training is starting up again as well but the FAA wants to send most of our trainees back to OKC for a “refresher” TETRA class for some idiotic reason. But as for traffic, our busiest push now is a 20 rate. On my crew at least we don’t ever have more than 2 scopes open. I think some of the other crews do 3 because they have some PQ trainees working now.

Furloughs won’t affect the current flying. It’s already cut past the amount of crew they are yeetingOct 1 is the real question. It will depend on how much the airlines follow through with furloughs
