I mean how hard can being a tower controller be? If the guy can chase coyotes and deer from the runway, and change some taxiway lights he can definitely clear some aircraft for takeoff and landing.

Sheeit, that's not a good look on anyone at BOI. I'm definitely a proponent of marijuana legalization but coming in to work high (regardless of whether you work in a safety position) is a no-no. That said, if a drug test four days after the incident came back negative that's pretty convincing to me. Usually the problem with those tests is they're too sensitive, you don't know if a positive is from four hours ago or four weeks ago.
