I had a 2017 STi. I miss driving that car but it was a little heavy for the power it had. With the Michelin AS3+ tires it was a bomb in the canyons and a bomb in the snow. You can still route all power to the rear to do donuts but when you locked the center diff it was like ”one foot of compacted snow? What’s that all about?”GTI is a great car. I just want the AWD. So I’m looking at that and waiting for the next STi.
Sadly (or maybe not) I’ve discovered the FI movement so my next car will be around 20k in cash, looking at an Audi S5 most likely.
I‘ve not driven one, but 40k for that car feels kIND of steep.Civic Type R anyone?
I was shopping the prior gen si and I couldn’t fit my head in the damn car, and I’m just shy of 6ft.
I was researching ways to lower the drivers seat lol, but ended up getting a Subaru STi instead.
