The site is being upgraded today, and I wanted to point out a few of the more useful features. Here we go...

Bookmarks
Posts, threads, resources, etc. can now be bookmarked for easy retrieval later on. Bookmarks can be tagged easy sorting/searching at a later time, and they are accessed under your account name tab.

URL Unfurling
When a URL is inserted into content and that URL exists on its own line within the content, it will "unfurl" it to a richer preview which includes the page title, metadata logo, description and favicon. Such rich previews add more context for users as to what the link contains. URL unfurling can be used anywhere that accepts BB code currently.

Reactions
Up till now the only action you could take on a post was to "like" it. With reactions, there are many more options in a facebook-esqe style. Each reaction can be assigned a point value (positive or negative) essentially allowing users to "score" content. The score is tallied to the user. At least to start with there are only going to be positive or neutral values, but that may change at a later time.

Message Editor
There are a slew of enhancements to the message editor. I'll just touch on some of them. First off, tables:

Inline spoiler tag: [ispoiler] will blur out text inside the tag until a user hovers over the hidden content. like this

Inline image formatting: Ever open a thread and a monstrous image assaults your screen? Well, now those images can be scaled, aligned, formatted, etc right inside the text editor. For those of you posting full res screen shots from your phone, this one's for you.

Push Notifications
This is a great addition. You can set an option to receive push notifications for threads, messages, etc. Unfortunately for reasons beyond control (read: it's Apple's fault) the list of supported devices/browsers notably exclude Safari on macOS and any iOS-based browser.

You can set the notifications the same way as alert preference, in your account preferences.

Wiki
Previously, the pointsixtyfive wiki was a separate site, running on the same software that runs sites like wikipedia. That takes a lot of extra work to maintain and doesn't integrate with the rest of the site. Shortly, the wiki will be integrated directly into the forums. For now, it only contains the 7110.65, but may be expanded beyond that in the future.[/ispoiler]
