I’m nowhere near base of $180K. Currently, that pay is only achievable by applying for, being selected, and becoming a supervisor.

How much is your life potentially worth? A $20K, 30K, 40K pay increase? If the agency can reduce the chance of you contracting COVID-19 and potentially dying by reducing the amount of people you come into contact with on a daily basis, why wouldn’t you see safety is more important than pay. Get a side job, if you need money that bad. Hell, many people had two jobs, while training. I know people who, up until this COVID-19 thing, had side jobs cutting lawns (on their ONE DAY OFF) or being Uber drivers because they wanted something to do or to make a little extra cash for whatever.
