Will NATCA and the FAA extend the contract?

I understand your point about Elon having conflicts of interest, and it is a Legitimate concern. When it comes to strictly workplace efficiency it’s hard to argue there’s anyone better for the job. He reduced the workforce at Twitter by a reported 80% and the app still runs the same now as it ever has with less censorship. He attributed a lot of that to cutting out unnecessary departments and slashing middle management.
In an interview with Lex Fridman, Mark Zuckerberg credited Elon for leading the charge of trimming fat in the tech industry. He specifically referenced how he doesn’t like “managers managing managers”. Sound familiar? You can’t tell me with a straight face we need an OS, OM, XO, ATM, Assistant GM, GM, etc, etc. When business restructure that’s typically the first place they start slashing, and in the FAA there’s plenty of bloat in the National, Regional, and local management levels.
I’ve read multiple posts now about how the DOGE would be a redundant government agency or consulting group (whatever you want to call it). If that’s the case, isn’t the obvious solution to cut off the other agency that is clearly doing a poor job of identifying and cutting government waste in the first place?
Maybe I’m naive, but I don’t think the controllers keying up on the floor or in the cab are going to be the primary target. It’s going to be the bean counters who make a living doing ancillary duties that don’t really impact the operation.
Bro twitter lost like 80% of its value. Like I said before the shit I’m worried about is our benefits because government wide cuts will affect us immensely. Even if we aren’t directly targeted.

Advertisers and sane users fled. Hate speech is now up. Moderation down. Company value down over 70%. He ruined a lot of really well paying jobs that the company could afford to keep if he didn't crush the valuation. This is the guy you want cutting the government spending?

The company is a success if you count buying the presidential election. But not successfully ran under any other business metric.

I'm sorry. Correct me if I'm wrong but as I quote "Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies." By having to CREATE A NEW department!?

Isn't that just adding more to everything they say they are slashing? Isn't that just typical government red tape extending its reach when it wants to do something? Don't we already have (ELECTED officials) who are supposed to already oversee, regulate, and manage Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures?
Department of Government Efficiency has TWO, I repeat, TWO Heads. If that don’t scream “efficiency,” I don’t know what does, lol.

You clearly were not around when Dubya imposed the white book and were employed under its reign. Whenever the right controls the policy making... federal pay, benefits, and working conditions get put on the chopping block. That does not happen when the left has majority. 40% raises are unrealistic but the left keeps the food on the table. The more you vote R, the closer you get to letting the leopard eat your face. Why vote for a group that constantly puts your pay and benefits under fire?
Federal employees voting Republican = Chickens voting for Colonel Sanders.

Our benefits will be effected immensely but we’re def gonna get a better CBA Mr extend never

They never continued working with direct control
Over the companies they regulated
No they didn’t. After they were done regulating they went back to work for the companies they were so called “regulating”. Definitely not corrupt and what we want!

Give me a break.

I like my freedom and rights more than being a federal employee. I’m sometimes disgusted at myself for being a federal employee
Exactly. There is more I care about than being a federal employee.

Yall picking Elon fucking Musk to go after for running businesses will always be hilarious. Tesla, SpaceX, dogecoin.. yeah he sucks at running businesses. Let’s have all these other worthless swamp bureaucrats continue to run their business (government) that is how many trillions in debt?

Ffs.

Didn’t you just say the other day you were looking into cbp? If it’s that bad why continue to do it or move to another federal position?

Also pictured you doing this at the thought of yourself being a federal employee.
disgusted team america GIF

Yah blame me for extending after Biden already won. That makes sense. Go pull up the old threads. The common theme was extending from a known democrat to an unknown makes no sense is what everyone was saying!
That’s a unanimous opinion. No one’s ever argued against that extension being a mistake in hindsight. And the timeline was indefensible even in the moment.
You didn’t address my post at all.
You’ve been on the ‘fuck around and find out’ crew all year. You and your brainless comment section army have been full bore ‘renegotiate regardless of EOs’. But now all the sudden you’re worried about our benefits?
You’re also so bubblized you actually thought Trump was gonna lose.

Extending the contract is really going to be a moot point after they abolish the FAA. The incoming Attorney General has already said he wants to get rid of all the 3-letter agencies.
