Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-20-ALLSRCE-65607

HR rep emailed me saying all they are waiting for is medical to pass on clearance info and then they can provide a class date. It's exciting to see that this process is moving along quickly for some of us.
When was your medical, drug test, and mmpi? And when did you submit all your security stuff? Just curious what your timeline has been looking like so far

Anyone who’s taken the MMPI can give an estimate on how long it takes to complete?

Got family in town and trying to make plans, but need to know around what time I’ll be finished.

The MMPI email says to bring an ID and my CIL

Do I need to print out the CIL email, or can I just pull it up on my phone?
I think you can do either or but I printed mine out. I think the only reason you need it is so the proctor can see the date of the CIL because mine had to write the date of my CIL on a form I had to fill out before taking it.

We’re you in the 19’bid or the 20’ bid?
Jan 2020 bid.
Should I be concerned if I did not receive an investigator call after completing the e-QIP in late November?
Not everybody has the same experience going through this. As we can see with replies from others there is such variation on just when people progress through this process.

Did you already have an active security clearance?

No. I imagine mine is simpler than some as I haven’t ever been out of the country though.
I haven’t either. I’ve lived in a bunch of places and have had a bunch of jobs. Just wondering if they will take the time to go through all that and wait for everyone to respond to them

my mmpis tomorrow, thats my last step as well. I received the call saying I was medically cleared and haven't heard anything from my background check which is good.

When they tell you your security is cleared it just means you got a conditional clearance to attend the academy. You wont be fully cleared until you are probably already at your first facility, could take a year or more. The investigation is on going. It just means they havent found anything on the surface level.
