Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-20-ALLSRCE-65607

Congratulations! What’s up with the on boarding date in the email? Typo?
Hoping it’s a typo. I asked for clarification lol

edit: I didn’t realize it said September 2020 lol it’s most definitely a typo ?

That virtual onboarding date is awesome. You're almost a year in before you start! ? Where did you see that you were enroute? Congrats!! Time to start checking my email every 30 seconds haha
It said further down in the email my class number and that it’s the en route option

Okay boys, so I lost my birth certificate when i just recently moved. And my mom threw away my passport as a child, ive never left the country so i never really had a need for the passport. How royally fucked am I seeing that I got my security email today.

Oh cool! What’s your virtual onboarding date? Mine was for 2020 so I asked what mine will be ? waiting on a reply but it’s probably the same as yours lol
How long ago did you get everything turned in? MMPI, Security, Fingerprints, and the like?

I got an email today saying I need to complete my MMPI. I finished in 1/25 and showed them that I did it and they responded ok. Wondering if that will delay me at all.

Also, do I have to get them done at a law enforcement agency or can I go to a place like PrintScan.
Doesn't have to be law enforcement. I used Identogo and they used virtually the same exact card as what was in the email. Tracking on the fingerprints shows they were signed for and have been in custody of someone at the destination for some time now and I haven't been contacted about them not being direct from law enforcement a problem.

You are going to need the info it asks for in your passport. If you put down that you never had a passport and they find out you were issued one, you'll probably be asked about that and given an opportunity to give up the necessary information at that time, but you'd be in hot water at that point probably. I say this because I've read through the forums of one guy that got grilled by his security investigator for having a passport but not putting it down, also because he lost it I believe. Either way you'll need it sooner or later. So far I hadn't needed to provide a picture/scan but only the info in it (like document #, date of issue, date of expiration, name on passport). That info has to be on file somewhere...

Having trouble finding a place to get my fingerprints done due to COVID. I'm from Suffolk County, Long Island - does anyone know of any spots nearby?
Not sure how far you're willing to travel but I got mine done in Middletown CT at state police headquarters. It was super easy to book online

I got that too. I just replied with the date and location I took it at. I didn't think it was a big deal, seemed like a mass email

Since onboarding dates are all for virtual basics right now with no Cost of Living does anyone know if the pay during the virtual basics is just the base pay with no locality or do they do locality pay based on where you are living?

You’ve had how long to get it together?

My local recorder/clerk office lets me walk in and get a new birth certificate in just a couple of minutes. As for the passport, try calling or going to the closest office with your birth certificate. They can issue passports same day, no reason they can’t just give you the info from your old one (IIRC you need all of the info, number, issued date, etc.) Worst case you pay the ~$300 for the rushed passport.
