Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-20-ALLSRCE-65607

Anyone else not getting much info out of their HR rep?? I cleared everything 2/22 and asked CS when I can expect a class date and all they told me was "yes you're cleared, you're pending a class date, I will contact you when I have one for you".... ?

Yes, that 30 day timeframe is expected. It's possible that the start date could get push backed, but they do contact you if that happens. You might as well go ahead and take that month off as scheduled because it's the last time you'll have a moment to relax.

Start growing the waiting gene again. If the HR POC says pending class date, expect to wait up to months.

I am guessing class dates may be made available to each HR rep individually. So possibly one HR rep gives class dates to their applicants in the order that they have been cleared then it moves onto the next HR rep or some reps are just faster than others. I've been cleared since before January 15th and nothing since. This is all just speculation though.

That’s exactly what I’m thinking, just nervous about the date being pushed back and not having a job ?
 
Called my HR rep today to get a status update. As soon as I gave my name she knew who I was and said I’m all good and fully cleared. Just weird how I never go a conditional security clearance. I did get conf. that I have been medically cleared. So if anyone is in a limbo space wondering if they are fully cleared contact your Rep if you can. I have TH she actually answered!! I called at 1030.

I got told the same thing, yet there are people who were cleared months after others that somehow got their dates before.

I think a lot of the confusion arises from the "date all clearances were received." For example, someone emails medical/security on date X and get a reply that they're cleared. I think these people assume that means they were cleared on date X, when in reality medical/security actually sent their clearances to HR several weeks before.

Same with me. I have DP and I had to call/email to ask if I was fully cleared. This was their response: "You are cleared and pending a class date. Currently classes are full through May. Students will be placed in the order that they have been cleared. When a class seat is available for you, you will be contacted."
I'm hoping for a June class date but it's pretty difficult to know at this point 😕

Physical Exam: 01/27/2021 | Drug Test: 02/03/2021 | MMPI: 02/08/2021 | Fully cleared: Sometime between 2/08 and 3/09

That's pretty much par for the course with CS. She's responded to me every time I've emailed her and fairly quickly (within 1-3 work days at most) but she's not the type to give out "inside info". Now that you know you're cleared I would just sit back and wait for her to contact you.

She sent me that email too. I replied asking if it looked like I’d be getting a June date. That’s when she told me that I wouldn’t unless quite a few people declined/didn’t respond. She then said they’d be able to reach me during the next round. So follow up with her.
 
Security Interview getting scheduled...

my Medical came back - need to get another EKG. Guessing I'll have to pay for that out of pocket/insurance this time?
