Warped wing brewery. Canoeing the miami. Oregon district. Dayton dragons games. The hidden gem that is yellow springs... If they never lost their radar and stayed a 7, I would have been in there like swimwear. But that's only because that's my home town.

They had a bit going on when they were a 7, with global air or something and DHL... And still had the radar when wpafb and Springfield had some cool missions. Now its basically a ghost town with the nicest tower.

I think they were a 7 when I interviewed there in 2011. Consolidation put them to a 5 that June.

No... June of 2011. I interviewed the last week their radar was operational and they hadnt moved to the new tower yet.

I just looked at the TCI for DAY. You are correct. It was 2011 that they were consolidated. I mixed up my dates. That being said, DAY was a 9 up/down until 2006. Then they went to an 8 until they consolidated. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

I hope PDK is still there when I go next month. I toured and spoke to the manager who implied they can influence where on the list they show up? Maybe they call placement at the Academy and get people reserved spots? I dunno.
