But national average shouldn't matter, right? As long as they are below 100%?Projected defines vacancy

Projected below 100 means there’s a vacancy for new hires, nest, hardship etcBut national average shouldn't matter, right? As long as they are below 100%?
I wish NEST were the case. I'm in it right now and although there are facilities 20 min from my home at 94%, they are going by "national average" and giving me facilities 300+ miles from home. Which is why I'm considering leaving, waiting my year, and trying again ?Projected below 100 means there’s a vacancy for new hires, nest, hardship etc
Did you withdraw? There’s only 6 facilities that even fit that criteria. They usually don’t do natl avg. Maybe bad timingI wish NEST were the case. Nope. Didn’t withdrawal. I stuck it out till the bitter end. There’s language in the SOP that says they define vacancy by being below the national average. I’ve been trying to fight it, but appears to be a lost cause.Did you withdraw? There’s only 6 facilities that even fit that criteria. They usually don’t do natl avg. Maybe bad timing
All that the SOP states is that facilities may not be staffed over 100% using the FPPT (reinstatement SOP para 4d). I would say that as long as the “Projected % to Target” in the FPPT is below 100%, there is a vacancy. There’s no reference to “national average”Nope. Didn’t withdrawal. Correct. NEST SOPIn the NEST SOP?
Didn’t realize you were asking about the NEST SOP in the CPC reinstatement thread. I answered based on the CPC Reinstatement SOPCorrect. NEST SOP
1.8.1Create Article61 Job Search Memorandum and prepare a vacancy lists based on the recommendations from the NEST Panel. This list will include all facilities that fall below the national projected future CPC to target and vacancies available at Flight Service Stations, and 2154 positions as applicable.
I was not. I was asking about reinstatement because I am considering leaving, and reapplying. Was verifying that the reinstated bid does not have the same stipulations.Didn’t realize you were asking about the NEST SOP in the CPC reinstatement thread. I answered based on the CPC Reinstatement SOP
I’ve been CPC before. I washed from my current facility but was offered a tower far from my family, who won’t be able to move with me. Just looking into the 2154 option to stay with my wife and kids, while trying to get back into 2152You need to have been a CPC to apply for CPC reinstatement.
I can't answer with absolute certainty, but my first thought is you need to be separated from the FAA completely, otherwise it's an ERR, and they don't allow 2154 => 2152 ERRs.Does anyone know, if I go to 2154 via ERR after washing from 2152, can I apply back to ATC as a reinstatement? I’ve been CPC before. I'd think not since I haven't separated from the FAA for a year, but only separated as 2152?
Any contract towers or DOD facilities nearby? Work for one of them for a year while networking with the ATM and rep for the FAA location you want nearby. Then direct apply to that location.I’ve been CPC before. I washed from my current facility but was offered a tower far from my family, who won’t be able to move with me. Unless you have a cto you’ll go to tower class.Has anyone resigned from a Z, done their year of separation, and then been hired to a high level tower? Do they send you to OKC for the terminal class?
I'm more curious if it's even doable, like if an 11 tower would be interested in a center person with no terminal experienceUnless you have a cto you’ll go to tower
