Found the problem.... it's because they dynamically reserved an A90 spot for a previous experience hire. Sorry. Try again next time.
Other places reserved for previous exp hires include but are not limited to JAX, IAD, BOS, SCT, PCT, SFO, TPA, and DCA. #getdyamicallyfucked

I didn't go to the academy but from what I've heard it's very similar to the Air Force tech school. So not only do Air Force controllers pass a similar school, they also earn a CTO or worked radar with real planes and across/with FAA facilities so they have shown they can somewhat do the job vs someone off the streets. Though this all varies greatly by base and branch.I don’t fully understand why because they’re more qualified? Couldn’t agree more. I just know a lot of military folks that got those 20 facility lists that worked nothing but helicopters in the military. I do agree busy military bases that actually worked airplanes should be given higher priority along with contract guys that come over. But again it’s hard to say that even they deserve higher levels over someone whose put 5yrs in agency at lvl 4 or 5 and can’t get out….I go to the academy but from what I've heard it's very similar to the Air Force tech school. Personally I put way more value into contract tower controllers that deal with lots of pattern work as far more valuable than both but that's just me.

I agree completely. Only downfall is everyone’s money hungry in our world and won’t be happy staying at lvl 5 even if it’s home. That said I’d literally kill to be at a lvl 5 by home rather than half way across the country. Wouldn’t hear a single complaint about pay either ?The lists make no sense to me. Most prior military people I know got offered mostly 5, 6, or 7s. I had a couple 8s. Then I hear of some getting offered higher facilities with the same or less experience. Makes no sense to me at all.
I wish the FAA did local hiring. Get people from the area that want to be there rather than moving people all over the country that are going to bid out the second they can.

I don’t believe these are “new hires,” but instead “CPC-reenstatements.” From another perspective, What if they put in their CPC-reinstatement paperwork before you put in your ERR? According to the CBA, wouldn’t they have priority? Like someone else has said, don’t hate the playerThat's absolute bullshit. I fully agree with whoever said a few pages back that new hires shouldn't be placed at facilities people have ERRs in for. Force them to allow people to move up in their careers.

If you’re on the ppt page and you go to the top right you can click where it says Opsproxy and drop down to Sign in as another user or whatever and just use your CEDAR login and it should show up where it used to.How do y’all find the NCEPT page these days. I used to search NCEPT in KSN and it had a link that popped up that was easy. Now I can only find the PPT, training holds and a few other things. Can’t find a selections list on there either lol.
