MMPI-2 Tier 2 Process

I just received an email from Hope that my case is complete. Their team has reviewed my file and forwarded the recommendation to the medical team. She didn’t say what is was but I am confident that there was not an issue. I responded to her email and received an auto reply, she’s out of office until 3 Jan.

My psych eval was 11/9/21 so roughly 6 weeks. Can’t believe it’s over. I’m from the May 2019 bid
Wen list?

I have no idea. RDC did send me an email this morning and it said that I have officially cleared tier 2. Now I have to schedule another flight physical and then a drug test. No clue when I’d get a list, 1-2 months is my guess.
Will keep you all updated.
What is flight physical?

Congrats man!

My eval was 10/23. Hoping I’m coming up soon….I’m from the July 2017 bid haha
Do you know why it has taken so long for you?

Covid and just going through the Tier 2 process. Took 18 months to have my psych eval scheduled lol.

I also have a checkered past to say the least. Hoping I haven’t been strung along for this long to be DQ’d at the end.

My psych made it seem like I should be okay though for getting her recommendation.

Yeah hopefully not. My info was sent to HQ so I'm just sitting in line but with my luck I am still probably the last in line. lol

Had my appointment and my doctor told me it only takes her maybe a week or so to finish up the report and send it to the FAA. In terms of getting cleared it depends on how long the FAA takes to get to our reports, but be sure to expect some delays during the holiday season

Approx 8 weeks seems to be the going rate for how long it takes from pysch eval to clearance. Obviously this is contingent upon you not having other major issues... still trying to gauge how long between official medical clearance and list

Hey guys, looking to see how many people are in the same boat as me. 2019 prior experience bid, was notified of Tier II in September of 2019. The flight docs took a long time and forwarded my file to the Tier II in January 2021. Tier II people won't talk to me and tell me to wait. They say they are working on a "First In First Out" mentality, but the "First in" does not mean first into Tier II, it is first to Tier II HQ. So if your flight docs take a long time, it screws you double. I've seen so many people, especially on this forum, that are in and out of Tier II that applied 6-12 months after I did.

How many people have been in the process for 2+ years without even scheduling their evaluations yet?

I’m also from the 2019 bid and just cleared T2, it took 2 years and 2 months from being notified of T2 to clearing. Im expecting a list any day now. Once your psych eval is completed, the process really picks up.

You havent had your psych eval yet?

Nope, no coordination for it at all.
Yikes... That seems unusually long. I would double check with the VHT people that your file is complete and there is nothing else they need from you. If they say you're good, it might just be a case of "fuck this guy in particular", which is uncommon but not unheard of. I'm from the 2019 bid myself and only completed my Tier II appointment in October
