If I cleared tier 2, you will clear tier 2 lol. Finally just had my tier 2 appointment yesterday. Did a retake of the MMPI, another test then had a general discussion. I got flagged for answering “too honest” and 2 questions that I answered backwards by accident. After going over my previous test it was obvious to him I didn’t mean to answer that way and he made a note in the file. At the end he just said he writes up a report and sends it into the FAA. Everything was ok on my file and I shouldn’t have anything to worry about. After reading the previous talk about DQ even after the Dr said everything is good still makes me nervous.
My appt was the first week of October and received my FOL 2nd week of February.Been searching the forum for awhile. Can anyone give a ball park amount of time between Tier 2 appointment and FOL?
Thanks. Did you reach out to anybody to check your status throughout? I don't want to ruffle any feathers but all of my stuff seems to have started late anyway and I haven't heard a thing.By email. It was about 11 months after hearing I failed my MMPI
No I didn’t want to annoy them and the one time I did I got ignoredThanks. Did you reach out to anybody to check your status throughout? I don't want to ruffle any feathers but all of my stuff seems to have started late anyway and I haven't heard a thing.
She basically sent me the address request three times. Losing my mind too.Emailed Hope this morning to try and get an update. All she did was copy and paste the January email she sent out, which was the email I replied to. I’m apparently getting trolled by HR. This process is so annoying.
I'm going to venture a guess that Jan email says do not ask for updates I will only provide information when I am working on your case. This is how Hope operates. Honestly I'm surprised she responded to your email at all.Emailed Hope this morning to try and get an update. I agree with you for being patient, but you might understand my frustration since I applied for a bid 9 months before you applied for yours, and took my MMPI well over a year before you did, yet you're well ahead of me. I'll be hitting my three year mark in a couple months. I'm not trying to sound whiney, just frustrated in the system lol.Y'all gotta be patient. They only email you when they get to your case and are actively working on it. I had to wait for nearly a whole year but I eventually made it through. I get it, it sucks waiting but there's nothing you can do to make it faster. This whole thread you can gauge how long it realistically takes to get through Tier 2.
Yeah this is what I'm afraid of as well. I am afraid I am so far down on the list.I agree with you for being patient, but you might understand my frustration since I applied for a bid 9 months before you applied for yours, and took my MMPI well over a year before you did, yet you're well ahead of me. When did you get notified of Tier 2?I agree with you for being patient, but you might understand my frustration since I applied for a bid 9 months before you applied for yours, and took my MMPI well over a year before you did, yet you're well ahead of me. 9/6/19. I'm a part of the May 2019 bid. When did you get notified of Tier 2?
Not to be nosy and just trying to get an idea but is there a special reason that it may have taken so long? Have you had to send a lot of special info or is your situation pretty standard?9/6/19. I'm a part of the May 2019 bid.
I think the problem is we are seeing people that started at the same time or after in some cases move along and we aren't moving at all.Y'all gotta be patient. I definitely feel bad for you guys that have had to wait longer than me. But you might be right when you say some people have more complex cases than othersI think the problem is we are seeing people that started at the same time or after in some cases move along and we aren't moving at all.
Yeah i'm trying to be a little more patient considering some of these guys are from prior bids but I'm still getting frustrated because mine is fairly cut and dry, but also, my process got started a lot later than others in the same bid. I don't really know why that is but I think that's why I'm taking longer.I definitely feel bad for you guys that have had to wait longer than me. Took me 3 years to get an appointment after being notified of tier 2.Yeah i'm trying to be a little more patient considering some of these guys are from prior bids but I'm still getting frustrated because mine is fairly cut and dry, but also, my process got started a lot later than others in the same bid. I had a small incident while in the military about 7 years ago, but that is it. My civilian background and driving record is clean. Not to be nosy and just trying to get an idea but is there a special reason that it may have taken so long? That’s why it’s taking so long. Prior military + an issue having to do with the military.I had a small incident while in the military about 7 years ago, but that is it. My civilian background and driving record is clean.
Most likely, yeah. The worst part is the lack of understanding on why. The Tier II team operates on complete secrecy. Neither HR or the Flight Doc know how the Tier II team works. They won't even tell people like RDC their steps so he can explain it to people. This also keeps them from being held accountable, so the secrecy probably won't change anytime soon. That’s why it’s taking so long. Prior military + an issue having to do with the military.
Yeah I agree. That is really frustrating. I feel for y'all for sure. Most likely, yeah. The worst part is the lack of understanding on why. The Tier II team operates on complete secrecy. Also, the whole first in/first out deal, I think, is a load of crap. Most likely, yeah. The worst part is the lack of understanding on why. The Tier II team operates on complete secrecy.
