Seems like most of us are waiting on EODS… at least I am still waiting for that… anyone else in the same boat?

I’m waiting on CIL from SV still, but I have a feeling in the next couple of weeks or so, I might see something (I hope)

Hey so if my basics date is 5-3 and my projected academy dates are 6-7 to 7-28. Anyone know what you do while waiting to go to the academy? Get paid to wait?

are you from the july 2021 bid or the january 2020 bid? I just assumed we'd be waiting roughly 6 months to start basics after getting the TOL

Btw, if you don’t mind me asking, when did you do your medical, and when did you get medically cleared?

Also, what region is your flight surgeon in?

I’m just tryna figure out an estimate timeframe as to how long the medical clearance process takes since I’m all done and just waiting on them.

I know a few of the others who’ve also gotten class dates are in the Great Lakes region, so it seems like the flight surgeon there isn’t as backed up.

My fs was ne ohio i got cleared mediccaly like 3 weeks after i got it done i believe.

Im from the Jan 2020 bid, just snuck over here since everyone from that bid was dwindling down

I have her. Received eqip instructions 03/01/2022. Also I've hit a roadblock recently (03/22/24). Flight surgeon MJ says a review of my information has been conducted and to better understand medical history I must provide an audiogram with speech discrimination and obtaining it is my own responsibility. Weird, I've never had medical problems...

That's weird cuz they do a hearing test for your medical. When was your medical and what state are you in?

The flight surgeon can (and does) send you for further evaluation based on your medical history and/or the tests they run at your AME medical appointment. If you fail the hearing test for example, they’re going to make you go for further testing.

03/11/2022 I’m in MO. Didn’t seem like I failed. Again, no history of hearing issues. Matter of fact I have a ppl that I was able to be cleared for a class 2 medical

I got an email saying she's quitting so you'll probably have to wait until another HR person is assigned

Right but she says we’ll be notified who our new contact is once medical / security clearance received. But I haven’t received anything about that yet

Edit: She sent a follow up email to clear that up ??

Security Clearance APPROVED today!! ?? Again, everything’s happening too fast! Completed e-QUIP Tuesday and was notified of approval today during work. Now, flying out to Texas from CA tomorrow to pick up my new car ?? Keep on grinding y’all and be patient, your time will come soon too and it will be nonstop getting things done ASAP. Hang in there fam! ??
