I have some bad news for everyone. Our OKC start date just got pushed back to 12/8 from its original date of 11/21. We finish basics on 11/10. Anyone in basics currently (for en route at least) will most likely be pushed back as well. The reason for delay is a shortfall of instructors during December. We still have the option to show up in OKC at the original time and would receive our per diem and salary during the gap. They also said we would be given training daily during the gap to keep us fresh and give us a head start on non-radar once we officially start in OKC.

Don't psych yourself out. You either have it or you don't. Get some good sleep. Eat a good breakfast and go in clear headed and confident, not cocky.

What’s the average wait time for FOL after completing medical?
Really is a variable thing based on your regional FS and how busy they are. I heard some people wait a month and some wait so long they need a refresh drug test since it expired.

I already received my go ahead from my medical & security I was wondering how long it took to get a final offer letter?
I’ve been done for nearly 2 months with the medical, MMPI and drug test. No word yet! Just gotta hang tight.
Well folks, I just got my class date… but does anyone know if it’s able to be pushed to a later date?
Reason being I am working overseas and there is a 14 hour time difference. It could be a potential conflict on getting my all my things together and adjusted to the time zone.. some input would appreciated.

Others have had it approved in the past, seems pretty common

I only wanted an update so I sent an email inquiring about the status of my application. The very next email I received was the class date for the virtual class. Hope that helps.
my request to delay was approved. Looks like I’ll be attending class after January 2023. Exact details are coming down the pipeline.
I asked if I could switch from enroute to terminal. In short, I am stuck on this track unless I have a spouse that is working terminal then I have a shot at changing this track.
A part of me remains hopeful that the the enroute classes are all filled up… but seems unlikely at this time. Has anyone seen it otherwise?

Yeah, unfortunately, that doesn't really happen. You're stuck for now. But do your time and finish training, then you can make the switch!

My HR rep told me the classes are tight right now… although the extension was approved, I wasn’t given a date. LM stated she was in training all week.
Is it too hopeful of me to hope there isn’t enough slots open in the enroute track so they’d be forced to give me terminal? A part of me wonders if I messed up my chances at getting terminal by asking the status of my application ?
