Would I be able to apply next bid? Is there ANY recourse? I can’t believe the one time I make a mistake in this process it’s here. I just wish I could get a second chance.Look into another career field that has a better schedule. Even if you’re at the max higher age you’re young and will have plenty of opportunities to do something else.
It probably sucks right now, but take your time and recoup then figure out something else to do.
They typically dont rehire those that fail academy - especially basics (which used to have 100% pass rate)Would I be able to apply next bid? Is there ANY recourse? I can’t believe the one time I make a mistake in this process it’s here. I just wish I could get a second chance.
They do. I’m not sure what happened, I got mostly everything I answered correct as well. Was doing great in the course. I’m devastatedDon't they give you like two hours to do the final test

Yeah I think you might be cooked trying to get another opportunity, people who fail the actual sims don't get seconds chances let alone not finishing the basics test
What is this and how could I get in?Go to new super CTI
Check out the Advanced ATC / Serco thread as well. What is this and how could I get in?
Bro I know it’s bad but maybe one day you will look back at this and see it was for the best. And maybe you never will, but as long as you don’t give up on life be aware there is way better then a 50-50 chance that you will.Just want to know what my options are. I was doing very well in basics but ran out of time on the final test. I made one mistake and now it’s all over. What can I possibly do?

One mistake would not have failed you. It is always (let me emphasize ALWAYS) a serries of failure that lead to negative outcomes in aviation.
