Some of you will never be satisfied with what is done. Regional leadership held telecons after getting word from Nick/Mick I'd assume. They gave out what they knew. When the DoT/FAA initially are in agreement not to reply then all of a sudden change their minds because they're getting differing information from their bosses then obviously the Union isn't going to know this until after they've reassessed or been briefed about the changes.
The only criticism I have is they should have simply said do or do not reply to the e-mail as a whole sooner. I think they took too long and people panicked and started e-mailing. At that point, I'd say you want everyone to reply because if a facility got 80% responses and 20% didnt, then it might be favorable to cut those 20%. But I could be wrong and that's why they changed their stance last minute.
Also it seems that event had a lot of Fac Reps and other representation. Who were in touch with their facilities. At least mine was funneling information as soon as it was available.
