COVID caused a flight school to shut down/relocate which killed the traffic and caused the downgrade, the other flight schools expanded and new ones cropped up, and they recovered the lost ground. At least they have the space there, FFZ is bursting at the seams with how busy it is for its size.

Yes heaven forbid 15 guys get a 6% raise for working the most miserable version of air traffic imaginable. We should renegotiate that appendix A scam to make sure no one ever gets 2 raises in a career.

Sometime. Supposed to have happened for a while but allegedly will happen soon(ish). I’m guessing all the flash through traffic on IND arrivals got their numbers high enough

Yea, good for them though at least they get the raise and the FAA didn’t get to use the excuse of them losing their radar to not give them an upgrade. Since the 804 just keeps getting kicked down the line forever at most places.

Looking at their numbers it looks like they were always relatively close to a 6 the past couple years and that airspace change gave them the extra bump.

Damn well then the question is what’s the effective date. On this site it says they were downgraded mid July 23. Might be just under the 2 years. That sucks. And why is anyone talking shit on controllers getting a raise?

Controllers favorite things to do: talking shit on others and being jealous/upset when someone gets something they don’t.
