Download the terminal placement list, filter out anything 8-12, facility training backlog, reserved for anything other than academy graduate, and anything that's already been offered and there's the list. It will change a little before June and you can cut facilities off the top for any remaining classes. If you're not looking to move to the south, Pennsylvania, Ohio, or upstate New York, you might be disappointed.

Has anyone ever heard of someone lobbying the selection guy for a facility that shows up multiple times on the overall list (Terminal) (Level 8 or below of course) but is off your list by a few? When he came to speak with us after basics graduation, he mentioned this was remotely possible depending on people's situations. I know it's unlikely, but if anyone has had any experience with this kind of thing (good or bad) that would be good to know

We had JAN on our list 8 times, they were supposed to be going into a backlog the day after we selected. Asked to get them removed due to that, got a big whopping no.

It's always worth it to ask, but that's no surprise it was denied.

Anyone have the number to the placement office? I'm a prior experience hire and have contacted my HR rep to see what the delay is (medically cleared 2 months ago and no list offered yet). Trying to get ahold of ATO placement office to see when I can expect my list.

Contact your HR rep. The ATO won't know anything about you until HR gives them the green light.

How do you hypothesize what might be available on the next nest, is there a certain threshold of numbers to look at?

It’s VGT. But unfortunately I know they had a lot of people inbound

VGT is at 140% and is the fattest facility in the country for projected staffing. Normally 140% would eliminate a facility from consideration for a NEST placement but they just sent a NEST placement there a few weeks ago after it was already displayed well above 100 so who knows with these staffing people.

What about the odds/chances of seeing BGR or PWM for this next nest?

Both are projected under 90% staffing, so there is a pretty good chance they could show up. I don't know how the nest works in detail or the criteria they use, but I don't see where asking for either could hurt if they don't show up on your list. Worst they could say is no. Best case they offer you one.
