How long does it usually take after receiving your list to having to report to the chosen facility ?
You usually get offered 15 days, 30 days and 45 days away from the point you’re notified where you going. It’s up to you how soon you report

Edit: or as close as possible to this time frame in reflection to pay periods, you’ll start at the beginning of a pay period

Not exactly true. It will be at the start of a pay period l. Technically on a Sunday is the start of a pay period but you show up on a Monday. The earliest I was offered was 20 something days then it stretches out 2 more pay periods. So the earliest date then add two weeks for the next then two weeks for the next. If none of them work you can ask for longer.

Because it was the closest to the time frame I listed. Obviously, they’re starting people at the beginning of a pay period ??

Hell the guy could be asking because he needs something more accurate than 15, 30 and 45 for purposes of moving, 2 week notice and other things. Generalized time frame would be 14, 28 and 42 days anyways. Trying to help the guy out instead of giving some bullshit generalized (wrong) information. You can take that shit to stuckmic where people ask the same damn question in 15 threads and talk out their ass. Obvious they start on a new pay period you say? How obvious is it to the guy with no experience with government service and pay periods that may have been asking the question? People ask the questions because it’s not obvious. So if you have the correct information why not take the time and give it to them instead of some other trash that isn’t always the case?

You pointed out the proposed dates are on a Sunday and you actually start on the Monday, so it’s actually 15, 29 and 43 since we’re being technical. The generalized info is close as far as accuracy......

Im pretty sure 14 days are in a pay period

The fact that you told someone set days like 15, 30 and 45 is not
Accurate and poor information. It could be 12 days or 27 days before that start day depending on when their HR rep gets their stuff together. To give someone the idea that 15 days from accepting FOL they can go to the facility is way too generalized. The Sunday is what counts for seniority and pretty much anything else so your bullshit day count doesn’t really matter.

Just for information purposes this sheet does not show all pay premiums that are there for each facility.

ASE- gets 10% AD pay added on per contract, also 10%ish CIP.

I'm sure theres others here that get more as well I just know Aspens.
