Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ALLSRCE-61676

Oh dang. Just saw this: Effective 10/01/19, the new long-term (16 or more class days) per diem rate is $101.60 per day. Granted, you can't pocket any of that, but still widens your options.
I believe you CAN pocket whatever is left of the food portion of the per diem - not the housing portion though. That's what I've come to understand.

Been lurking for a while. Its been a struggle trying to schedule my stuff (got my CIL on 11/26), mostly due to being at least 2 hours from any facility/AME. Finally managed to schedule my MMPI and medical in the first few weeks of Jan. Cutting it close but getting everything done on time. Was hoping to get it done earlier so I could get a class date already.

I can feel that. I'm fortunately only about 30 minutes from MMPI but a good 2.5hrs from AME. Can make for current work schedule troubles.

I've been offered a class date in Jan over phone and e-mail last week but I haven't been sent an FOL yet. Kind of annoyed because I'd like something concrete before making arrangements w/ my employer, housing etc.
That was kind of where I was; but my boss was going to be out until Jan 2nd, so I figured it would be best to turn in my notice now and hope for the best (they prefer 4 wks notice, so it kind of worked out perfectly [heard my start date on Friday]; work until Jan 17th [exactly 4 weeks later], head out sometime the next week to get there by Jan 23rd). Figured not having a job for a little would be worth being able to get it back if I need to (in the event I either somehow don't get a TOL or if I don't pass the academy).

Definitely not looking too hard at housing yet, though I like Kim's the most so far (I like that it looks more 'home-y' and I like that they'll shop for you, that and the ~$20 extra without the food doesn't seem too bad if I decide I want a house to myself).

Took the MMPI today, took around 45 minutes. I guess it's normal to come out of that feeling like I "failed" it haha. If I don't get a call in a few weeks hopefully I'm in the clear!!

I have DF and still have not received the CIL. Anyone else in the same boat? Confirmation was received on November 25th.

I have DF and it seems I was in her first bunch, I completed my CIL last Monday. I did send her an email last week and didn't hear back, so there's a chance she took some time off like many others.

Hah, yep. If you're being honest, you definitely have to admit to some character flaws, and you start wondering "does this mean I'm highly unstable??" I think I took closer to 1 hr 20 min, there were a few questions I really had to sit with to figure out what it was saying. Like, double negatives in the question, do I answer "False" to the double negative to mean that I *do* that thing...? Or would that be true...? And other questions, I just wasn't comfortable answering, because I felt that that because I disagreed, that would imply that I agree with the opposite, which wasn't necessarily true. Did anyone else leave a handful blank?

So, i'm trying to get my fingerprints done, but all local agencies are requesting an "ORI" number, but the box on my SF-87 for that is blank and I can't find any information on what it might be?
I've tried calling my security POC but she's out of the office until jan 6, which will be beyond the 15 days i have to submit it at that point.

I didn't leave any blank but did notice it would let me skip some if I wanted. I hope I didn't answer a trigger question wrong or something, I tried to be as honest as possible! Honestly though I don't think it will flag me, I was honest as I could
