Because I take medication for it and I didn't want to lie. ?But it's not a narcotic/pain pill so it's interesting that I'm getting grilled about it.

Agreed, and originally I understood because the same med can be used for treating a more severe ailment, but even my medical records PROVING why this was prescribed don't seem to be enough.

I had the same thing happen to me but for a different, very mild, medical condition that I take a medication for. I had to run back and forth to my doctors office like 3 times within a week just to get the info and tests done that they needed. I cleared my medical but was informed I have to get my condition tested every year with a detailed report from my physician. It's just all a part of this wonderful process!

How long do you have to accept a class date/email FOL before the mailed FOL reaches you?

As far as I know, we don’t get mailed a FOL. Mine came through email only and I had 5 calendar days to accept or decline the offer.

Not military related. You could try contacting your HR rep about not hearing from medical, or asking about your clearance status. HR may give you a generic medical email to contact (my HR rep did).

Ive been on a frustrating hunt for extra documents and reports related to what I believe to be a trivial chronic issue but I've gotten 3 requests so far for more paperwork with a couple weeks between each one. I sent them the holy grail of medical history last week so hopefully that does it. It is annoying and seemingly pedantic, but when you show up for your first day of academy classes I bet all this will be forgotten.

They are currently processing the applications for the recent bid that just closed. So you probably won’t get it until they finish that and go back to scheduling classes.

Dual citizenship here. I had my interview with the investigator. 2 of the people I put as references also had interviews last week.
