MMPI-2 Tier 2 Process

That’s Hope. She doesn’t respond unless absolutely necessary so I know I won’t get a response from her.

She gave me my psychologists phone number to schedule an appointment. Told me I had 7 calendar days to schedule it and notify her the date. She also made it clear that multiple phone calls aren’t necessary and that the dr will return my call at my earliest convenience.

I called him same day I got the email and left a message. No response. On the 5th day I emailed hope and basically said “He hasn’t called me back and my 7 days are almost up.” She didn’t respond. Then on the 7th day I called again and he still didn’t answer. He ended up calling me back later that evening thankfully. Said he’d been meaning to call me back.

A bit of a ramble, but in an email she also said “Requests for status updates or time frames will not be returned in an effort to process the maximum number of cases.”

either way, I’ll somehow try and figure it out

Jesus Christ reading this makes my blood boil. Maybe I shouldn't even try to get back into the FAA. After a while, i almost forgot about all of the stupidity govt employment has to offer. -- I just miss that paycheck.

Anyway this is really aggravating to read. I can totally accept a long wait time because of too many people in the backlog. But this type of shit just proves people like RDC, Hope, the docs, and a bunch of others are likely spending 1 hour a day doing actual work.. the other 7 being spent on extended lunch breaks or Facebook surfing.

I’ve never had issues with RDC or his supervisor. They’ve always responded usually within an hour or two.

I haven’t tried to get ahold of DC enough to formulate an opinion.

You know once we privatize incompetent pieces of crap like that will be able to get fired.

The likelihood of privatization seems low. Plus, would that mean we lose the union too? I honestly wouldn’t be as comfortable losing the union.

I don’t disagree at all in terms of efficiency. There’s not a single thing the government is more efficient at than private organizations.

The union doesn't have your back when it counts. Such as getting into legal trouble, work related issue, or anything personal. Most of the top brass are in it for themselves, I've watched some pretty shady shit go down. -- The union is great for BBQ's and getting sweeping changes made like dress code or pay raises (maybe?). I'm not sure whats more beneficial at this point; shitty govt bureaucracy and practices just to keep a union, or privatization with fewer hoops to jump through and shit running a lot smoother. Pros/cons to both for sure.

For me, RDC is actually one of the few who has been great with communication. Always responds quick and thoroughly. Hope did state that shed only be responding to essential emails too in order to speed up the process for everyone so I can somewhat understand her situation. Everyone else sucks though.

I've been military, worked as a FED, worked civilian and worked as a FED contractor.

They all have pros and cons.

I think everything except the security portion of hiring should be contracted out honestly.

Also... from all my friends that are at current facilities the entire culture needs reworked.

What is tier 2 and who is RDC?

Congrats man! Been reading your posts lately looking at timetables. Was gonna reach out to you and see if your appeal got accepted. Glad you're back in it.

Emailed RDC and he said I should get my tier 2 results soon (based off how they mark stuff in their systems).

Even then seems like academy dates are full until June.
How do you know that okc classes are full until June?

Anyone here have contact info on HQ? I would like to ask them a question but I don’t have any idea on how to contact them.

I would email Hope which isn't much. I say that because I think she only coordinates appointments in/out processing of the tier 2 applicants.

RDC maybe able to give you a POC. Or you can call aviation careers.

Lol Comparatively, I guess so. 9 months after CIL completion it sure didn't feel quick.

June 7th, 2018 was my tier 2 notification date.... zero sympathy lol.

The way I look at it is another person out will relieve their madness over there so maybe they’ll get us in a little bit quicker.

I'm not convinced that's how it works. I think the "rules are made up and the points don't matter" lol
