I would reference the Qualifications section of the link you posted. If you have difficulties understanding some of the jargon inside of that section then it's also probably a good bet to say you don't hold the qualifications they're looking for.

Considering that tens of thousands have died from the virus and this punk makes a joke about how trainees who applied later should go in front of the people delayed, it's in bad taste that he says " I can still joke or take a joke". Bet it's not so funny anymore, eh?

You know, they make DM’s if you want to hash this out. You calling him out hasn’t saved anybody.

edit: I know that I was the primary one arguing with this dude back then, but I said what I needed to say, and it’s over. Literally no reason to bring this back up.

I completely agree with you. It was and still is. Bringing it back to the surface of the forum from a month ago just seems, petty, I suppose?

However, this is merely my opinion and each has their own to voice theirs on the forums.

Wasn't meant to save anyone. It was meant to point out how tonedeaf his comment was when he made it. A few months later and close to 70,000 are dead. He did give a half-baked apology to apologize for "people not being able to take a joke" though!

It is petty. But he posted on a public forum, I'll reply on a public forum. If you say something in public, don't be shocked if someone else calls them out- in public.

Funny. I mentioned before I am petty. But I'm not wrong.

If someone came on television and said something that flies in the face of everything logical, like "injecting bleach and being exposed to UV light will stop the virus!", would you want people to publicly rebut that person, or would you prefer people DM that person privately to clear up the "misunderstanding" hoping they fix their mistake?

I'd rather be right and petty, than polite and wrong. People should be held accountable for their actions.

His mistake was a misguided joke on an air traffic control forum; he’s not the president. He didn’t kill anyone. He didn’t wish anyone dead. I realize this is a hard time for everyone, but the way you’re choosing to cope with this is destructive.

Has anybody from this bid taken or waiting to take the ATCOV for color vision failure? This is the last thing I need to be cleared but need to wait until civilization returns to normal.
