Yeah normally I wouldn’t have a ton of faith in them to have the stones but even this I think would push them over the edge.
 
So why do the dems support adding six seats? Is it solely because they don’t like the balance of power on the court?

Cus there’s nothing constitutionally stopping them. Because Moscow Mitch didn’t fulfill his job when he blocked me Erick garland

So in this situation the left would nominate all six new judges presumably without any real input from the right if they held the presidency and the senate?

Yah. Which tbh the republicans deserve if they do it. And they wouldn’t be able to block it cus they got rid of the 60 votes rule (the republicans)

This is the problem with todays politics. The Supreme Court should be balanced and as non partisan as possible. Adding six justices that one party chooses is a gross abuse of power. At this point we should really mandate term limits on all judges and politicians. Unfortunately they’d never vote for that themselves.

If someone isn’t okay with the republicans forcing through or blocking one justice then they shouldn’t be okay with the dems adding six of their own justices to the court because the republicans deserve it.

No this is complete and utter ballocks. Both parties make up rules and both parties choose which rules to follow depending on the one in power. You cannot sell me that the Republicans and solely the Republicans do this.

You cannot in any fucking universe tell me what they did to Merrick garland and what they are going to try now isn’t completely hypocritical. Please cite someone a dem has done that even pales in comparison

and with that attitude you should have no problem with the dems packing the court in janurary
