Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-16-ALLSRCE-49075 Bid

From how it was explained to me, and this could be wrong...d1 d2 d3 up to CPC are steps in training. I was told on here that a new academy terminal grads do not go to towers higher than a 7. That leaves only CCF and everything else in N/A. I understand it's just a pay scale but if there is an NA on a level 6 tower how can someone be placed there. According to the terminal placement list I was seeing academy grads getting level 5 and 6. I hope that makes sense. Like I said it could have been explained to me incorrectly.
AG is the academy grad pay band. The ones with NA don't have those pay bands. They aren't large enough to warrant it. If there's no pay band it's just skipped. Terminal AGs won't go higher than an 8.

Thanks...got it

A few of CTI non vets haven't received theirs either. They're still processing ...
haven't received what? TOLs? I haven't heard of any new TOLs going out at all recently I'm thinking its all wrapped up this time around which is pretty disappointing.

I am 10 point vet preference and they " didn't receive" my TOL 3 times so it took a while for them to be able to process my paperwork. So I am still waiting for my CIL.

Anyboday still waiting on a call to schedule their medical? I'm approaching 30 days, sent an email when I first got my CIL and left a voicemail message but still nothing.

The medical is backed up. I received an email 3/24 telling me to wait an additional month before following up with them (initial CIL 3/10). Reportedly there are individuals with a month or two wait prior to receiving an appointment.

That's pretty much what my hr rep told me...said after 60 days contact her again...it's been 4 weeks so far.....and that's all I'm waiting on clearance is good took the mmpi today..just a waiting game now

I'm also waiting on Medical, not as long as you guys. I received my CIL on 4/3. Not sure if they're backed up due to the fact that there are a limited amount of spots for each class in OKC or they're just really slow/inefficient in the entire process..

Has anyone had their current employer/ previous employer not comply with the background investigation? My boss called me into his office on Friday because he got a letter about my background check and he did not take it well. He said he wouldn't fill it out and send it back. I'm wondering if I should notify my HR POC or the background POC.... And it looks like now I'm skating on super thin ice at my current job, needless to say. lol.

Sounds like a class act. It's ok, if they really need to info from him they'll find him. Then he can personally tell the FBI no.

Did you tell your boss to be expecting a background check letter? Some people care more about not being told than they do about filling out the letter.

Anybody else experiencing an extremely long wait time for medical to contact you for the physical and urinalysis?.....I'm on week 8 since I received my CIL....I got my TOL 2-4...

I'm off the previous experience bid and it took 3.5 months from receipt of my CIL til medical set up an appointment.

Finished my CogScreen-AE on May 19th, neuropsychologist gave me a clean bill of health. He said he will have the report sent to the FAA shortly after the beginning of June (he's going on vacation).

FAA just has to receive my medical records now, and they requested them from the Air Force base in January.

Urinalysis, security clearance, MMPI, and flight physical already completed.
