Just remember 3,000+ people got TOL's, the academy can only handle ~150 per month. They will be sending CIL's out for well over a year.
Not exactly true. A good portion of the people hired were prior experience and won't be going to the academy or are already at their facilities. I've seen people with TOL dates before and after mine with CILs already, so I'm holding hope it will be closer to weeks that months at this point.
Like StevenB said, just over 3,000 TOLs from the OTS bid. Any current FAA controller has access to this info. Not exactly true. I have the same.Just received a July 5th Terminal start date (2/14 TOL). The medical clearance part took the longest.
I have the same.
Yeah still waiting on my FOL. Was told I would get it by todayYou were also offered July 5th Terminal?
Nope.I am currently waiting for OPM to finish the security investigation, and once that is done, if approved, I should be expecting an FOL for ATC. However, I really don't like where I am currently at and had applied to ATSS as a backup plan. I have gotten an FOL for ATSS and continued with that process. I don't start until the end of next month, but was wondering if that could affect anything the ATC application.
Cogscreen isn't done for everyone. But I had to take one for my bullshit VA rating. Just a heads up, it ended up costing me 3 grand for a clean bill of health from the doc. Best of luck.Is the cogscreen something that's done for all medical?..or certain situations...this is something I haven't read about before...I just received my medical email to set it up today...and wouldn't ya know everyone's already out of the office..
It's on a computer and timed. I believe they give you 3 hours to complete it; most people finish in less than 2 hours. Also, for those that took the MMPI, how long approximately does that take? Is it on a computer or paper? Is it timed?
