Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-17-ALLSRCE-53474

Anyone else with TH as POC received anything since TOL received confirmation...other than that lucky person that already got CIL

I know plenty of people with that rep who are already done with medical. Again, they can only send out so many CIL’s per month and it could be that rep can’t send out as many per month, or any if the limit for the month has been met. All a guessing game at this point honestly.

On the pre-employment interview worksheet a question asks "Have you ever had any drug or alcohol related events........"

Do I include two alcohol related charges that were dismissed? One was over 10 years ago.

Should I not list it since I wasn't found guilty of it?

Am I going to be disqualified because of two charges I wasn't found guilty of????

So I called my local sheriffs department and they only do fingerprinting for inmates...she said the only place that she knows of that does public fingerprinting is the UPS store. What should my course of action be? I'm in Knoxville.

Although I just called the police department and they do them, but only if you live in the city which I'm right outside of. So I guess the lady at the sheriff was incorrect.

Yes, you should include them. As they are alcohol related events. You more than likely won't be disqualifed but will probably have to meet with a background investigator and may require additional medical paperwork.

Guess you just have to bite the bullet and get arrested then...

Kidding aside, I'd try these places: My FBI Report - Tennessee Fingerprinting Locations

Spoke with my POC today regarding something else, and I also asked about how long I should expect to wait for my CIL now that my EODS has gone through. She said 2-3 months.... Let the waiting continue!

Yes, include them. I had an alcohol incident over 10 years ago and it didn't slow down my process at all. Be prepared to write a substance abuse letter though for medical.

Does anybody else have a security contact or any other POC that literally will not reply to them.... I understand they are busy but isn’t the point of having someone to contact because we may have questions ?

A good rule of thumb at this stage in the process is some HR, security, medical POCs will not reply to you if they arent actively working your file. If its not pressing give it time, these people also process stuff for current controllers as well.

It took my security person about six days to reply to me

I was trying to make an amendment on my SF86 so I feel like the sooner the better if it can happen at all. Not really much I can do about it but wait and see.. it’s been 5 days for me now and nothing... I sent it the day after I submitted my equip...

For anyone excited to get going on their CIL - don't be. The e-QIP is the most grueling thing i've ever had to deal with. I'm a hair away from forfeiting the whole goddamn thing.

Received CIL 2/14/18 @ 04:50 CST. I haven't been contacted for the medical yet, but do you guys recommend gathering paperwork (Scope of work, Physical Therapy Prescriptions, etc.) for prior knee surgeries?

What are you having issues with? By the end i was feeling like pulling what little hair i have left out of my head.

Oh ALL of it. Finding addresses and phone numbers for people I barely knew 10 years ago? Get out of my face. It won't even let bullshit it without giving me an error. I'm in hell.
