Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-17-ALLSRCE-53474

I got an email after security letting me know it was complete. if any documents were needed, I would get an email after saying they were received. There is a phone number in one of the 9-agl emails says any questions call. Which I have done and they were able to tell me what was completed or what is still in process. Could not give me a date of expected completion. I was checking medical they were able to tell me 2-4 months from date the appt was completed.

So i emailed the HR PC and medical POC, as well as that "9-agl" inbox inquiring as to the status of my application back on 6/1. No responses yet. Is this something where we wait 30 days then try again?60 days? It's confusing not knowing exactly who to contact.. i mean a quick "in progress" or "info received" would suffice, just be helpful to know if they have everything they need or any information at all really
I just call the HR number from my TOL and ask if they have anything still pending. They can't see where at in the process on specific stuff, but can see if med has been completed and security.

IDK if this is helpful, but i just spoke with my security POC, she let me know the conditional security clearance was denied which i was aware of but i asked her how long the full background investigation would take. She told me that it was started "in early april" and takes "4-6 months to complete". They make the adjudication after that.

Have been reading up on appeals and stuff "just in case", it sounds like it's definitely possible to appeal but your chances get significantly slimmer as you wait and appeal and keep fighitng this, i imagine many people stop pushing to get in after multiple rounds of that.

Anyways... fingers crossed, i had a pretty normal 20's, few bumps here and there but nothing i can think that would disqualify me. Then again, i'm not a federal investigator so what do i know.

Still no word on anything medical, i asked her who to talk to and she mentioned my medical POC by name. But i cannot get ahold of this woman, i've tried emailing and calling. I certainly don't want to be a nuisance... i guess i wait a bit now. again. ;)

I'm in the same boat just had my face to face investigation yesterday.

Did you all get email with FOL or a phone call from HR first? If you got a call was it OK area code? Trying to make sure I don't miss it
I got a call first with an OK area code but that was because HR was seeing if I would be willing to start class on 6/20 to fill in a spot that opened up unexpectedly. I told them that it was too short notice and quickly afterwards I got an email with my normal class date of 7/11. Normally they would just send an email though.
