Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

Hey guys I have a question about the medical worksheet. I have emailed about it and haven't gotten a reply yet.
I'm female to male transgender and have been taking testosterone cypionate for several years.
Would I have to put anything related to this under medical conditions?
And for medication it says to list dates, but I've been taking the same prescription and dosage the past 5+ years. Think I could just list the starting date and how often I take it?

For medications I put "drug name, dosage, daily, 2016 - current". If you list a medication there is a reason you take it so you should list the reason so I'd list "transgender".

what should we be expecting next (besides waiting of course)....is it a phone call with a class date or an FOL email? From looking at past bid threads it seems those come separately.

Who did it say the sender was?
I believe the letters my employers got were from the Office of Personnel Management.

Does anyone know at which point in this process we find out if we're En Route or Terminal? Is it just when we get our class date?
It used to be you got assigned your track when you got your TOL. This year is different so no-one knows for sure, but the TOL I got said
Specialty: To be determined after fully cleared & based on next available class
so that sounds to me like you'll get it when you get your class date.

Had a stomach bug back in college that I ended up needing to be hospitalized for simply because I was getting severely dehydrated...I’m listing the hospital stay on my medxpress, but are they wanting to know if I had any like, anti nausea medication while I was there?...

I had the exact same thing (although it was 12 years ago). My doc just asked if it was an isolated event. It was, so he said it was of no consequence.

You’ll get a phone call, they will call you letting you know everything is good to go and offer you a class date. Unless you have a serious life event like having a baby or a funeral they expect you to accept that date.

You’ll also know via email because they will send you your FOL via email and you have to respond yes you accept or decline and give a reason. Or if you remember to ask on the phone whether you’re terminal or enroute.

Good afternoon all, I’m a super late bloomer here, but just received a TOL for this bid! I’m so excited!!! I know the CIL will be the next step, what’s to expect beyond that? I’ve already submitted an SF86 for an application with another agency in the past year, is there a chance they may let me just re-certify that one? Other than that, it’s just medical clearance, correct?

Also, does anyone happen to know the ‘average’ timeframe from TOL to FOL and academy dates? Thank you very much, and I look forward to meeting some of you down the road in OKC!

Medical, drug test, MMPI... Do a little reading on this site. No one can give you a timeframe because there are too many variables. If anything is backlogged, if you fail anything, etc.

Stressing a little about medical since I have a rating and had lasik done. Has anyone done it and can you share what you did?

I'm thinking about a last minute trip to Dublin for St. Patrick's day. Would I have to update my SF86 or security POC? Or is it not a big deal. Travel would be 100% for pleasure.

I got drilled by my security person about me being terminated 2 years ago from a low paying part time job. That would be crazy if I get rejected when there are government officials with a way worse track record working rn with clearances.

If you already sent it in, I'd e-mail your POC about it to be safe.
Good point. I sent an email so we shall see what she says.

They are probably just trying to make sure you weren't stealing or something shady. Hopefully it doesn't impact your hiring.
