She offered me a terminal class that was in early April and she said she really needed to fill it. I told her that I had more training in my CTI school in enroute. She offered me April 2nd enroute after that but I asked for a date after May 5 so I can finish my bachelors. Love KH

She's da best! Did she send you a paper FOL or is she waiting until the paygrades are updated?

So how did y'all hear about this job?

My mom is an en route controller and my dad is a terminal controller. My only question growing up about what I wanted to do for a living was should I be enroute or terminal haha. I just got a job as a remote pilot operator in the Cleveland control tower so i'll be running practice problems for all the new terminal controllers there so that might persuade me to do terminal but I do like the higher pay (faster so i don't have to transfer) that enroute offers.

What do you think? Would it be ok to still be employed, but not working, by an airline while in the academy? I don't plan of failing the academy, but if that happens I don't want to lose my 9 years of seniority and pay at my previous job.

You aren't supposed to be employed at an airline even while at the academy. No you aren't a CPC, but you are an air traffic control specialist trainee. I was giving up 7 years seniority but had I failed in OKC I would've gotten my job back no questions asked.

I am happy for all you who got their dates, I just am having more trouble with this period of waiting after submitting everything than the other long phases before. Maybe I need to leave this thread alone :(
