For future reference since it's 2019 and all there are faxing apps...
did not know that😅 either way we didn't even receive our welcome packets until after the 7 day deadline so Friday afternoon vs Friday evening might not have made much of a difference

Probably not but just putting it out there since you will still have to fax things even as an ATC

Finally got the long awaited email from Hope. I guess I’m finally making progress in the tier 2 process. I’m in the Northeast region.

Got contacted by Hope today as well for Tier 2 scheduling. Northeast region. I'm getting out of the military in 53 days, hopefully all goes well!
Did you send in your records and everything? I kind of want to figure out the timeline since I got tier 2 also.

whats the slowest medical region it seems?
Well I’m western pacific and my med POC had to send my medical file to a different flight surgeon cause she was getting impatient too if that tells you anything 😂

I wish mine would get impatient.

Southwest region here. Took the MMPI 2/21 and medical 3/7. Still waiting to find out if I’ve been tier 2 or cleared.

Is it too early to start looking for housing for my class that starts July 31st? I dont want to get behind the curve.

alright our class passed the basics end-of-course test today and now we move on to the real training starting tomorrow. I've been seeing a lot of new students and classes in the building lately.
Is there anything I should know or bring (that you didn't get think of) for my class starting in almost 2 weeks? How many are in your class? Appreciate your updates. Keep them coming.

No I felt pretty prepared. Just bring the proper paperwork that they tell you to bring in the welcome packet email and a backpack with a notebook. We were supposed to start with 12 but one person didn't show so we're a class of 11. They give you a book a week for basics and practice tests each week as well. Most of us drive to class now (vs taking the shuttle) and have had zero issues.

I've already contacted housing providers and my date is later than yours. Mind you, there seems to be some changes coming for per-diem with regards to the housing portion. Maybe whoever you contact can fill you in.

What's the potential change with the per diem?
