Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

But you can literally drive to real panda any day of the week in the time given.

True, I’m not arguing that. But why drive when they literally bring the panda to you? Idk it made a Friday tradition for my class. That, and getting free drinks from IB made the academy so much more bearable.

getting free drinks from IB

With the new management it's down to one drink on Fridays... but they have gotten a bit more on the ball in the past few weeks, so that's something I guess. The food's been on the "decent" side of the "mediocre/decent" scale as well.

MMPI-2 Tier II update: Hope reached out and sent me a form to release my MMPI-2 results to the psychologist that has accepted the case. I printed it, got it notarized and returned it within an hour (7 calendar day deadline to get it notarized and returned). Keep you all posted!
Probably asked many times but when did you get the tier 2 news? Just want to see your timeline

Has anyone in any previous bid, appeal the Tier 2 decision after they found out they been disqualified after the psyc interview?

Received the same e-mail this morning. Got everything filled out and returned to hope just now. I’m from Las Vegas if anyone cares

Yes. I got disqualified from the March 2015 bid in April of 2016.

Applied: March 2015
TOL: September 2015
Notified Tier II: late October 2015
Tier II: Nov 11th, 2015
Notified of DQ: April 2016
Overturned DQ: March 2019
FOL: May 2019
Class date: August 2019

Let me tell you, depending on what they nock you with it is one hell of a fight. They give you ZERO guidance, and any incurred costs are on you. I spent close to 3 years, over $20k, and letters to Senators to get it overturned. They also pulled my Class II medical, so it was a two birds one stone process. Find my write up here...

Hope that helps

Sorry if this has been asked/answered already, but if you had to, for whatever reason, turn down a class date offer, would that, in any way, hurt your chances for being hired off the next year's bid? (Assuming there is a bid the next year, you do well again on the ATSA, etc, etc).

Damn, Hope must have found a way to get more work done. Y'all, especially any veterans, that have received their release forms for tier 2 are flying through.

I’m not a vet, and I received communication. I didn’t want to say anything earlier, because truthfully there are still individuals from previous bids that are waiting. But I guess this is a case by case situation where each individual circumstance is different from one another.
