Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

I really can't belive no one that posts on here knows anyone at HR and can give real info and not hear say, like info leaks from the damn oval office but not here?

So I saw the official numbers today at work and it's basically this. It's not exact, and I don't have access to the site, at home.
Invited to atsa- 4968
Tested- 3200
Passed atsa- 2400
So like 35ish% didn't even schedule/show up for the test. Before anyone asks, I can't see how many are pool 1 or pool 2, it doesn't break it down to that extent.

Very helpful, thanks. So The 2400 includes both pools?

You are the man!! i think it was said earlier that they want to hire around 1400 this year(2019)? but seeing as only 663 got hired last year means that people have a 30%-50% chance of getting TOL? (lower % because of people from previous years that are still in the process of getting hired)

Is it true that this is the first time Pool 1 applicants don't have to take the BA? I'm thinking that would lead more CTI graduates to apply and make it this far. A possible explanation of why the pass rates is so high.

Edit: Also a few hundred from the N90 who had a second go at the ATSA.

I was thinking the number of people was pretty low? 2400 when they’re taking 1431? I know the 2400 doesn’t account for everyone, but still
They are definitely not hiring 1400 from this bid. 1400 is for the entire fiscal year. Prior experience, CPC reinstatement (maybe?), N90 bid, Jan (Apparently) OTS bid. I doubt they officially hire much more 800 from this bid, if that. Remember the Academy severely limits the number of controllers processed per year. Why hire for two to three years worth of Academy slots when you can put out a new bid and get new high scores?
