Granted, I’ve been on here for all of 8 days, so I am about as new to this as one can be.. But isn’t this thread about the trainee job opening/bid process? If so, wouldn’t it make sense for candidates for that job opening to be discussing the bid process? While we are waiting for the next six weeks, what should we be talking about that isn’t already in FAQ, Resources, or another thread? Why do you care? If you don't like it don't read it. I'm happy for you that you live your life never having what if conversations or taking hypotheticals. I happen to enjoy such conversations. You are not telling us anything we don't know. If anyone in this thread doesn't know TOLs will eventually come let me know and I'll happily retract this.

For both tracks of tetra classes (new-hire and FAA transfers,) they're all going to be max of 6 students per class. Always open to change though.

One class in session for tetra currently is at 12 students.

You have been at your facility less than 6 months. Have you even talked to an airplane? You're not actually a controller yet buddy, you're barely further along than anyone else in this thread. You should probably get off your unreasonably high horse, go study a map, and ignore this thread if it bothers you.

Congrats on making it through the process. I'm happy for you but don't act like you're better than anyone else here. I spend a lot of time on this thread asking questions and discussing because being an ATC is a dream job for me but don't pretend I'm doing nothing else with my life. Maybe it makes you feel good that you made it through the process that other people don't and/or haven't. If so you probably haven't achieved much else in life and I'm happy to be a part of your ego porn.

I think this is solid advice that came across a little dickish, and then everyone replied and feelings got involved.
