Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

I have not received anything, but they are probably up their eyes in shit right now. Give them a few days to run through the e-mails.

I received a Thank You email for my original confirmation as well as a reply to my follow up email from the HR officer stating that they have over 400+ accepted TOL offers to sift through. She wrote, "Until then, please continue to hang in there with us, as we are trying to catch-up on 5 weeks’ worth of work."

Don't worry if you haven't received your reply yet. They are back to work and you will get yours soon.

Feel like its good news for some of us that they have only filled up 400+/- positions. Maybe we'll get another wave once they're all caught up :)

@Extrarely I was going to say something similar. Last we heard 2400 passed the ATSA, so only having 400 accepted offers (less than 20% of total passed) seems low, out of 1800 edit: 1400-ish target hires (even if a bunch of people didn't accept)—do we know how many have been picked up so far on the 2018 prior experience bid?

One can only hope and pray right? I know last year they picked up between 1200-1300 people so if history were to repeat itself, it'd be a much higher chance of getting an offer. Just wanted to throw a congrats to everyone that does have a TOL so far though and glad your process is moving forward!

Edit: I'm sure one of the current employees may have access to current hiring numbers but thats just my opinion and I have no idea.

Remember that those hiring goals include all potential sources of hires - including prior experience, N90 bid, the potential “January” bid that may still happen, and others. So expect far less than 1400 hires from this bid.

I was just basing it off of last years numbers, I believe last month someone said they selected 1266 from the OTS bid for 2017. I do know N90 is hurting bad though so that might be their priority, that would make sense anyway :D

Not really sure if this will be helpful to any of you but spoke to an HR rep, she told me they do not know if more TOLs will be sent out or how many were already sent out. It seemed to me that no more would be sent out but that could just be my perception.
