Wow, 45 mins to 3 hours is quite a range lol. Is it a different test for each person? Maybe some people get more questions than others?Took me 3 hours.
The level of mystique they place around the selection process may actually be intended to try and prevent people from trying to “improve” from one bid to the next. I believe the ATSA is supposed to be an aptitude test (similar to an IQ test) vs. a skills-based exam. They’re trying to find people who naturally have the mental processing skills needed to succeed. Obviously it’s human nature to want to prepare/improve for any test, but I’d assume they’d want to discourage that if they are indeed measuring natural abilities.You’re absolutely right. Really a roll of the dice at the end of the day and of course nobody knows the method.
