Just a reminder that you don't have to work a job that may place you on prime time news networks and receive death threats to earn 100K.

Obviously a job like this is gonna be a lot more work. You will need to count cash, make sure the restrooms' are clean, maybe wrap a few sandwiches. Once you memorize all the combinations of lettuce turkey and cheese to put on a sandwich it will get easier though. For 125K, They will expect you to make turkey sandwiches at any hour of the day which is obviously very labor intense and working odd hours isn't something ATC ever does (Thank you NATCA). These are just of the few difficulties you will face with a job at Buc ee's and it cannot be overstated on how much harder it is then ATC. You mess up a Sandwich? yeah probably fired! No union to protect you from your sandwich making errors. But it is a risk some people may be willing to take so just making sure my brothers and sisters know their options.

Unfortunately, Buc ee's only matches 6% to a 401K not the 5% that is matched in the TSP. That is 1% less or another way of looking at it is a 20% increase since going from 5% to 6% is 20% more. If those numbers seem backwards, Forward and sideways... I know these plans are so confusion and thankfully in ATC we have NATCA to figure all this stuff out for us because most of us are just to incompetent.

Stay safe out there friends!

Might do this. I’m not young anymore but I’m still in good shape..🍑🍑🍑

These young studly alpha Kingz are making 500k+ a year. That level 24 pay, SON! 👑🍆

If AG pay looks like it sucks McDonalds is always hiring.

$20 an hour
AG is 58,984
28.25ish an hour

Health and 401k benefits
AG knocks this outta the park
With all benefits it's at least 12 an hour more.

Are you implying McDonalds doesn't offer 401K and health benefits?

additionally AG is not 58,984

AG is $50,942 and that is $24.41 an hour

Beaumont isn't in California though
irrelevant... Cost of living is what matters. ATC jobs are near metropolitan areas where cost of living is substantially higher then rural areas. You can purchase a home anywhere in California where cost of living is low and home prices are reasonable and find a McDonalds. You will need to drive 1 hour+ from any facility in California to find reasonable housing. When you take this into the equation you obviously can have a higher standard of living working at McDonalds vs ATC.

Raise When?
