10/10 on the username. I still have my house there but the environment on some crews leaves a lot to be desired, most are beyond miserable with 6 day work weeks. Trust me, you say that but then what will happen after is that you will be just as miserable and hate your life.

Same at my facility. I bid my RDO based on crew unfortunately. I’ve been on 6 day work weeks as well for years.

How is the quality of life here? And where do most of the employees live? Home pricing there has shot up drastically and I’m curious if controllers can even afford to live any where within 30 mins of the facility.

TLDR: Do not do it. Be ready for 6/10's and zero time at home. Managed to build my home in 2018 and refinanced during COVID for 2.9%. Lots of people left for DoD or the Airlines or Corpo Jets. Even Sups bail when they get the chance.

A lot of the people there are great people, just disgruntled.
