I took my ATSA for the second time (only found out you could do this without having experience last year) about two weeks ago and I must say I felt a lot more confident taking it this year than I did last year. For curiosity's sake, I called HR a little while ago to see what I scored last year and to my surprise I was in the best qualified band, just not lucky enough to make the cut. I feel better knowing this after taking the test again, as I missed the majority of the perspective questions last year; I'd be surprised if I got 3 of them right. It's a bit of a shock knowing that with that many wrong and ignoring the math questions on the simulations it still placed me in the best qualified band.

Unfortunately for me this may be the last bid I can ever apply to, as I turn 31 in February. Best of luck to everyone on this bid, and hopefully they'll send a lot more than 264 pool 2 TOLs out this year.

Hey guys, first time poster, but I have been following the thread for quite some time now. I am taking my ATSA tomorrow and am looking for a prep course available for Mac OS. ATCPrep is only available for Windows! Any guidance here would be appreciated. I would like to run through a couple practice modules before I have to take the real thing tomorrow.
Go to BestBuy, buy a cheap windows computer, download and use prep course and then use the 15 day return policy on the computer 😂

Or don’t start studying the night before?
Honestly, agreed. But maybe this person is a super genius?? 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ Personal opinion: if your current work ethic relies on waiting until the last minute to prepare for something, I doubt you’d do well at the academy. Passing the test is one thing - some people are just very good test takers. But by reading about the academy, it seems the passing rates are mediocre at best and I bet it’s because people don’t take it seriously or put in the time and effort from day one. Every single point matters.

I'm in a similar boat to you, but this is my last chance for sure because I'll be 31 next month. Wishing us both the best! :)

Also had the same issue and my iPad was so old that it wouldn’t work properly. All my friends and family have macs too! I ended up just purchasing a windows 10 fusion 5 tablet and a keyboard to match for $200 off amazon because I wanted to practice. A little excessive to spend that much just to practice for the ATSA, but it was time for a new tablet anyways so I went for it. It helped me with the ATSA a lot I feel on the first half! So I’d say it was worth it

Giving my 2 cents for my retake yesterday. Absolutely crushed the first part and thankfully no technical issues. I think I only had a couple collisions (crash on right side when I start looking on the left side, etc). Forget about the math. We'll see about the last couple sections but I think I did better than last year. And now the (4-6 week?) wait or so... Time for the calm period to begin again

I hate you... where's my re-test. Just kidding.

Last testing window for Kansas was today when I checked.

As for pool/job -- I am pool 2, and work as a professional ass kisser.

I'm thinking referred/Not referred decisions will be coming out on the morning of October 16th because it says that on Aviator that it will be down for an hour that morning, so i'm assuming to upload scores.

That would be nice but I think it might not be till November...

According to FAQ --
“After the AT-SA, selections are made, normally 60-90 days after the closing of the testing period.”
Staring at the other threads on here…
2017 – Referral lists ~ 30 days from final ATSA date. TOL’s in about 90 days.
2018 – Referral lists ~ 45 days from final ATSA date. TOL’s in about 60 days.

Yep, I had an issue with PSI showing my exam results as "Absent for Test" even though i was definitely there, i called HR after PSI was their less than helpful selves and they gave me that email as well who emailed me back within a few hours. Hopefully they get back to you just ask quick!
I had the exact same thing happen, had to call PSI and HR to get it all resolved

I went back to the 2018 thread a couple weeks ago and from what I can gather it was only about 3 weeks from final ATSA to first referral.

I was one of the last ones last year to take the ATSA, and IIRC, the last date was November 9th, they updated the USAJobs statuses to reffered/not reffered on December 7th based on email notifications, and TOLs went out on December 21st. All on fridays, so if we follow last year, its 4 weeks to reffered/not reffered and 2 weeks after for TOLs, but once again, who knows, everything has been going a lot quicker, relatively, this time around.
