Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-20-ALLSRCE-65607

I'm taking mine on Thursday. Not looking forward to it lol
Just go with your gut. Best advice I’ve been told is “if you have to think about an answer then odds are you already failed it.” questions like “I get frustrated sometimes”… obviously we get frustrated. We are human. But then it says “I let my frustration get the best of me”… then yeah that would be one to answer “false.” Just RTFQ and answer quick and honestly.

Also don't laugh too loud at some of the questions. I did a few double takes at them because I couldn't tell if they were serious or not.

Wait. Am I really about to be tier 2'd for answering "true" to sometimes teasing animals?
I guess it depends on how the rest of the questions went.. If you showed signs of being a psychopath on top of that, you could. The assumption is that murderers and some of history's most fucked up people start with animals before they start messing with people.

Pretty sure someone on a previous bid post got t2’d for that exact situation. Was cleared up relatively quick by the follow up eval.
Edit: Search results show one guy retook the MMPI 6 months later, the other waited 2 years for psych eval.

It’s only a guess, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of Tier 2’s is due to the system thinking you’re trying to give the answers they want to hear.
That's true. There was a little informational video they had me watch before taking it that said something like 80% of tier two's were because of that. And that something like 98% of people end up passing so just answering truthfully is your best chance to pass without getting delayed.

I have a question about the medical appointment portion of the hiring process. I am filling out the pre-employment interview worksheet but have yet to schedule a medical exam. Do I just look at the list of doctors in AME List that is attached, choose the closest one, and call the number listed to ask for an appointment? ( as long as the appointment is scheduled at least 10 days after I send in the pre employment interview worksheet?) There is a part in the worksheet that asks name of AME and date and time of exam so I'm assuming I cannot send in the form until the appointment is scheduled. Thanks in advance.

You’ve got it. Schedule the exam and the appointment should be at least 10 days between submitting the form and the date of the exam. They will need the AME’s info. They just need time to set up payment for your exam and to get a MedXpress email out to you. And yes, you can pick anyone from the list.
