First time posting, got a TOL Friday!!
On a Saturday? Or yesterday? friday morning
You mean you signed and returned your TOL and they sent you confirmation they received it?My TOL got accepted today at 12:11pm MST
That’s typically how it goes. Sometimes they’re slow to acknowledge receiptYou mean you signed and returned your TOL and they sent you confirmation they received it?
Yeah I guess I’m in the boat of slow confirmation on my signed TOL lolThat’s typically how it goes. Sometimes they’re slow to acknowledge receipt
Same. Sometimes it happens that way.Yeah I guess I’m in the boat of slow confirmation on my signed TOL lol
This is interestingThis is the message I received with my TOL confirmation email.
"Thank you, your TOL documents have been received. Since we are limited in the number of individuals we can start in the clearance process each month, your HR Specialist should send further instructions within the next 6 months."
You've said it numerous times about numerous things in this thread alone: "no rhyme or reason."6 months! wow... that's... ridiculous to the say the least. All to hopefully not be offered a garbage list at the end of all of that.

If anything, I think everyone should be patient. The reality is, it's not going to be a rapid process. If you separate from the military soon, work at a contract tower, and get yourself some more experience. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
We also should likely give the HR reps some grace. They aren't dealing with solely our bid. They are still working with people from numerous, previous bids, both off the street, and prior experience.
coming from the person who already received their TOL confirmation ?I do know that I have the same HR specialist as my OTS bid and I was in a discord with that group and they ask every question they can think of and call every single day asking for updates. Patience is the best virtue to have with this process.
I think the most assuring thing at this point is receiving a TOL in the first place. Now it’s a waiting game. You’re waiting on confirmation and I’m waiting on my next step, which could take 6 months from what the email said.coming from the person who already received their TOL confirmation ?
but i agree, calling HR certainly doesnt speed up the process.
Hurry up and wait is the motto. It doesn’t really change, even after you’re in…I think the most assuring thing at this point is receiving a TOL in the first place. Now it’s a waiting game.
