A-lot of people don't take CIC seriously enough. They just collect the extra pay and see it as a break. We have to change this culture. We need to be proud of what we do and service that we provide to this great nation.

Or, the FAA could properly staff management positions and do away with all their bullshit office days so controllers aren’t having to do their jobs in the operation.

Whoa whoa why get rid of it.
Staff it like a mandatory position and only have additional sups on swap nights. Sups can than focus on doing admin tasks and getting currency.
